You can use Audacity to make ringtones out of your mp3's and BitPim to transfer them to the phone.BitPim can do both but I prefer Audacity for the effects such as Fade in.I have been using this method without any problems but if something goes wrong you should know that using BitPim could void your warranty.

Download this program called 'Wavepad' to delete parts of the song you dont want, and keep the part you want as your ringtone (about 30 seconds of the song)
the program is free; the link is: http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html

and after you get done editing your song, save the file to your computer as an MP3 file..then go to your email service, type in your cell phone's number in the To: section of the email..then type in @(your network here).com …not sure what to type at the @ part, you'll have to look it up..im sure you can find it.

mozes. i use it. its the best and safest one yet. its legal too! haha

you just register FOR FREE. and just join the 'mobs' of the bands/artist you like and you can get a free ringtone by that artist/band…IF they have it.
you can get free wallpapers too.

the only thing is ..it texts you the ringtone and then you download it. and of course. the text isnt free. its the only thing you 'pay for

does that make sense?

itunes are for iphones only.
This was announced by appel when they introduced the iphone 2 years ago.

Itunes is a rip off anyways, they wanna charge for ringtones,
You can legally make your own ringtones from mp3 files by using this site. ITS FREE

that is the best free site that works for all sprint phones. It works great for my sprint instinct. the quality is by far the best from any free ringtone site

you can either use

1) an mp3 file
2) a youtube video

but if you want to upload an itunes file that you purchased,
you will first need to burn it to a cd, then reimport into itunes as mp3 format.

the procedure to convert from itunes to mp3 goes like this

* Burn the itunes files to a compact disc and make sure that you burn an audio CD and not a data CD

* Use the iTunes to access the audio CD and add the media files to the library

* Right click the media file and select [Convert Selection to MP3]

dont use that myxer site people are telling you.

myxer charges , i tried them and i ended up getting $20 charges on my bill every month for 6 months. I had to end up calling my phone company and putting a block on them. and they texted me every day with spam.

Ventones is the best site ever, they won't spam, and they won't charge.
